I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc. Soulfist is a pretty challenging class to play optimally and the two builds require different skillsets to pilot so when I have the resources I'll definitely set-up a robust spirit gearset for fun. Striker and wardancer are classes that require huge amount of stats with wealth runes, cooldown gems, lot of tripods for more elemental generation and specialisation etc. I'm a striker 1080 and I can finally start doing combo without being out of cooldown and making it feel very active. Don't give up !It explains very well why it doesn’t matter. You need to have fun with class you play. Period. Otherwise you won’t get better at playing the class which it ultimately comes down to. A B tier scrapper could potentially get MVP over S+ tier classes if it is played well and the player knows the mechanics etc. Berserker is probably the best solo class. Tanky but can do a good bit of damage. But, to be honest, they are all good at solo. Play what you want without worrying about who is better. The reasons to play it are the highish apm, high mobility, high stagger, high destruction, two built in class dashes, and general tankiness. It also has one of the best "flows" out of all the classes I have played. Kind of hard to describe, but when I started playing it I instantly fell in love with how it felt.For me, Destroyer and Eso striker, and planning on making EO soulfist or gunlancer to see who I enjoy the most.
