After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. On top of that, when you skip tutorial, you get into a zone where you test a class with a lot of skills unlocked. As a Deadeye main (with a 1490 GS alt), I think it's one of the most fun classes in the game, the other being Gunslinger and I see why so many people would rather play Gunslinger. Sorceress is there to nuke things from afar. Gunlancer is very tanky and a great balance in consideration of the warrior class. Braindead class, and as you say just stand there and, nothing do nothing.. 90% of warlords (dunno why they fuck they call em gunlancers now) actually believe they are tanks, doesnt know a single mechanic for anything, they lack in all aspects. Fun class tho as any other in the game. Berserker is probably the best solo class. Tanky but can do a good bit of damage. But, to be honest, they are all good at solo. Play what you want without worrying about who is better. If you don't have a ton of time to play, play what you think is fun. SashimiDemon.Gunslinger can be another good choice, though you're squishy, you have plenty of mobility, and your range on snipe can help you get uptime on mechanics.
